Entertainment and Eating
The city of Crystal Lake is a suburb of Chicago, and in between the two there is a vast selection of entertainment and eating options for all tastes. The University of Lending does provide a continental breakfast for 5 days, lunch for 5 days, and dinner for one night. Below we will highlight some of the entertainment and eating options you will have at your disposal:
University of Lending Entertainment/Eating
Lunch - The U of L provides lunch every day, Monday through Friday. Our lunches vary by day and with each day containing one of the following: Traditional Italian fare, Hamburgers, Italian Beef and Chicken, Deli Sandwiches, and Mexican fare. Each day will also feature vegetarian selections.
Entertainment/Dinner - On Monday night, directly after class gets out, the U of L provides a complementary meet and greet Happy Hour at the Holiday Inn. During this hour drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and Hors d'Oeuvres will be served. In addition to getting a chance to know your classmates more, Rex Johnson and the staff of Lending Solutions Consulting, Inc. will be on hand to talk with you as well.
Wednesday night is typically the favorite night for our students. The evening actually starts after lunch on Wednesday when we will bus our students over to Lending Solutions, Inc. (LSI) to tour their corporate headquarters/call center in Elgin, IL. While at LSI our students will get the chance to see Rex's teachings from the University being put into practice as our students will sit in on live phone calls, witness training classes taking place and much more. After the tour at LSI we will then bus our students over to dinner. Your dinner will consist of your choice of filet mignon, grilled chicken, or fresh fish. As an added bonus Rex Johnson and his U of L staff will also attend the dinner. This is great time to talk to Rex and his staff personally about any questions you have about the University of anything else. If you have brought a guest with you, they are welcome to attend the dinner.
On Thursday morning the executives at LSI sponsors a hot breakfast (consisting of eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns and pastries) at 7am. This breakfast is not mandatory to attend but the the LSI executives care greatly about your opinion of their call center and would like to find out what you thought about the tour. Please note this is the only hot breakfast of the week so it is worth coming to.
